Rogers is having a great season making it to the top 30 in the single rankings a few weeks ago. Her form is reflected in the odds for this tie wherein the oddsmakers have placed her as an overwhelming favorite even though she lost to her opponent in the Billie Jean King Cup last year. Facing off against Kuzmova isn’t going to be simple as the Slovakian seems to be making efforts to climb back up the rankings. However, Kuzmova has not progressed beyond the first round at New York until this year and is certainly looking to re-enact her 2019 form. Her recent run in the qualifying rounds is a testament that she is going to put up a fight. In spite of all that the 31st seed will progress as she is the form player currently and will be motivated to avenge her loss to Kuzmova last November. Her serving and defence will be enough to get a victory here. But we go for the Total over 19.5 at 1.725 on 22bet.
